The roving sub-industry is accelerating transformation and upgrading. INVT launches the full electric control system for roving frames, helping customers improve product quality and production efficiency.
Large nonlinear error of mechanical transmission, unstable roving tension control and obvious fluctuation of yarn quality.
Process gear replacement required for product changeover, with heavy workload and long time, unable to respond to orders quickly.
Multiple mechanical transmission components, frequent replacement of vulnerable parts such as gears and cones, resulting in high maintenance costs.
Low speed regulation accuracy and poor dynamic response of traditional systems, restricting the improvement of vehicle speed and production efficiency.
IVC1L PLC is adopted as the control core to establish a mathematical model of roving process and realize closed-loop speed and tension control. Four inverters drive drafting, twisting, winding and forming processes respectively. The full electric roving control system is built through master-slave synchronization and common DC bus technology to improve equipment speed and yarn forming quality.
Core Philosophy
Full electric integration, reconstructing the stability of roving process with precise tension control.
Technical Claims
Full electric system: HMI+PLC+high-performance inverter, simplifying mechanical structure and reducing failure rate.
Precise control: Master-slave synchronous control ensures highly synchronous operation of all inverters and stable tension output.
Power failure protection: Built-in power failure synchronous stop function ensures stable tension under abnormal working conditions.
Spindle speed increased from 800–900 rpm to 1000–1100 rpm, significantly boosting single-machine productivity.
Stable tension reduces spindle variation, resulting in more uniform yarn evenness and improved product quality.
Reduced workload for maintenance and operators, with lower skill requirements.
Elimination of mechanical gears and other wear-prone parts significantly reduces spare parts costs.
