"The equipment can't run fast, messing up packages as soon as speed increases?"
"Costs are ridiculously high, and changing the solution costs more than buying a new machine?"
"Slow after-sales response, causing significant losses from downtime?"

In the packaging industry, the pillow packing machine acts like a "packaging artisan," precisely and efficiently loading incoming materials from the tailstock into the packaging film, completing heated center sealing and transverse cutter cutting, allowing the packaged bags to flow orderly to the next process.

Mechanical Structure

① Feeding Section: Feeding conveyor chain, driven by a 750W push rod servo to continuously cycle and feed materials.
② Film Pulling Mechanism: Consists of the film, film delivery roller, traction wheel, and center sealing wheel, driven by a 750W servo to pull the film forward.
③ Cutting Mechanism: End sealing and cutter, discharge conveyor belt, driven by a 750W servo.

TS611+DA180, Solving Challenges with "Intelligent Collaboration"

INVT launched the VS070-QE + TS611 (Pulse Output Version PLC) + 3*DA180A solution, achieving a perfect balance between performance and cost through three major technological innovations. To accurately determine the positions of the transverse sealing axis (film pulling axis) and the transverse sealing axis (cutter axis), the solution feeds the pulse frequency division output of the transverse sealing axis servo into the PLC high-speed input. Utilizing the TS621 encoder probe instruction enables precise latching and recording of positions, providing accurate position values for functions like material adjustment, empty bag prevention, and registration mark correction, thereby enhancing the solution's accuracy.

  • The solution uses switched cam profiles to plan the stopping/starting curve for empty bag prevention, allowing the cutter and film pulling axis to stop smoothly at high speeds without material position deviation.

  • Material clamping reversal judges whether the cutter is clamping material by comparing the commanded position with the actual feedback position deviation, replacing torque detection. This makes detection response faster and better protects the cutter.

Triple Upgrade: Efficiency, Cost, Debugging

Efficiency Improvement:
The equipment's maximum speed increased from 150 bags/minute to 200 bags/minute, boosting daily production capacity by 33%.

Cost Reduction:
Electrical costs reduced by nearly 30%, enough to cover 3 months of equipment consumable expenses, saving the equivalent of a new machine's cost within a year.

Simplified Debugging:
Debugging time significantly reduced, efficiency improved by 50%. Parameters auto-calibrate, enabling independent completion of the entire process within the same day.

The INVT TS611+DA180A servo solution addresses the pain points of traditional solutions regarding speed, cost, and after-sales service. Furthermore, through innovations like modular design, transparent debugging, and remote support, it provides a complete "cost reduction and efficiency improvement" solution for packaging equipment manufacturers. With excellent performance and high cost-effectiveness, it brings dual enhancements in processing efficiency and quality to pillow packing machine manufacturers.

Amid the industry trend towards high-speed, intelligent, and flexible packaging, Invt is empowering more enterprises to seize market opportunities and gain a competitive edge through continuous technological innovation!
