Abstract: Now days in metro city automated car parking system are very essential system due less parking area in society. Here automated technology designed to park vehicles without human intervention. In small area 9 cars easily parked. To automated this system use sensor, induction motor PLC and HMI.

Machine Procedure:
 Control System:
1.    PLC and HMI interface via Modbus communication to visualize the operation and control the system.
2.    PLC control motor via contactor for shifting car positions.
3.    HMI visualize the all parking stations and can call any car randomly.
4.    Provide different operation mode like Auto, Car Details and Maintenance.
a.    Auto: Call particular car or shift car to its home position.
b.    Car Details: Here user can fill car details and owner name for quick identification.
c.    Maintenance: This mode like manual mode, if auto mode fails to operate then operator can call car manually, or during maintenance time can adjust the pallet positions or limit sensor position.   
5.    In this system used total 15 number of contactor to operate 9 pallets. 2 contactors are common (reference) contactor with help of this we can operate other contactors. Means if you want to left pallet 1 then you need to operate reference contactor UP and pallet 1 UP contactor. For one function need to operate 2 contactor. 

Pallet shifting system:
1.    For vertical and horizontal pallet shifting use 2 motor. Whereas shifting for vertical or horizontal pallet use single motor.
2.    Each pallet have limit sensor which limit over travel and provide feedback pallet position.
3.    Pallet 1,2,3 only move up and down, Pallet 4,5,6,7 move left right and up down, Pallet 8,9 move left right only.

This system installed at residential apartment in urban area. Because of this system land consumption requirement reduce. Instated of 3 car parking area we can park 9 cars vertically. So for that INVT provide solutions against Delta and DOL starter.
