Most of the mines in the field are powered by generators, if the motor is started directly, the inrush current is 5-7 times of the rated, and the generator capacity should be very large.If the motor starting current can be reduced, the generator capacity can be reduced, thus saving equipment investment and maintenance costs and improving customer competitiveness.Thus INVT provided customers with the GD300-EP series of special VFDs, and the problems were solved.

GD300-EP is a special product developed by INVT for shore power supply, EPS emergency system, fire emergency power supply, soft start motor, industrial frequency switching, voltage stabilization and frequency stabilization power supply, etc., which has the function of mains synchronous phase-locked control, real-time monitoring of input voltage and adjustment of output voltage, phase and amplitude consistent with the power grid.

INVT GD300-EP Solution

When the main motor of the mobile crushing plant is working normally, the 50HZ operation does not need to reduce the frequency, so the frequency conversion start is used to slowly accelerate the motor to 50HZ, and then switch to the industrial frequency operation.

The equipment is generally released after starting, and the frequency conversion is basically no-load when starting. In order to save investment costs, the power of the VFD can be half of the motor power, the motor is 315KW, and the VFD is 160KW.

In order to improve the starting effect, frequency conversion control mains synchronous phase-locked, for non-disturbance switching, to maintain the frequency converter cut the instantaneous current of the industrial frequency smooth and shock-free.
