Application of High Voltage Variable Frequency Speed Regulation System in High Power Synchronous Motor

Project overview

A steel plant of HBIS Group has two sintering machines, the main sintering exhaust fan is driven by a 10kV / 7100kW synchronous motor. The enterprise initially uses water resistance cabinet to start the motor in the way of asynchronous start, if the excitation system is not accurately controlled in starting, it will cause out of step and affect the production, and the large start impact current will produce torque ripple, causing damage to the motor. In addition, it adopts windshield to adjust the air volume with serious energy waste.
