[June 24, 2022, Beijing, China] Since 1894, the International Olympic Committee has designated June 23 as International Olympic Day to promote the Olympic spirit and culture.
In recent years, the green and the ecological concept has also been promoted to the world by the Olympic Games. In particular, the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, for the first time in Olympic Games history has all the venues powered by clean energy.
As a PV inverter manufacturer, INVT Solar actively responds to the "Green Olympics" and supports the construction of green energy projects for Olympic venues, participating in the demonstration project of PV + Energy Storage System in EV Charging Station for the Olympic Town in Zhangjiakou, China and the ESS demonstration project for the Chongli District of the Winter Olympic Zone.

No. 01
A 250kW project of PV + Energy Storage System in EV Charging Station for the Olympic Town in Zhangjiakou, China

BACKGROUND OF PROJECT

It was completed in March 2021 and provides green power for Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

APPLIED PRODUCTS

 1.BD250KTR-MT three-phase energy storage converter
 2.BG50KTR three-phase grid-tied inverter
 3.BG40KTR three-phase grid-tied inverter

VALUE OF PROJECT

Efficient power supply

Provide clean and highly reliable power supply for charging of new energy vehicles in the Olympic Zone. The project combines the construction of PV, energy storage, and charging station: during the day, PV power generation is given priority to meet the charging demand of electric vehicles in the parking shed, and the surplus is stored in the battery storage system, which is discharged to supplement the PV power output when it is insufficient; at night, the battery storage system is used to absorb low valley power and support the charging load during the charging peak period, effectively reducing the grid load of the charging station during the peak period and guaranteeing the charging demand during the Olympic Games, improve the system operation efficiency and reduce the electricity cost.

Green Commuting

Through the supply of green and clean energy, it realizes the green and low-carbon in the parking area of the Winter Olympic Games, implements the advocacy of green commuting of the Beijing Olympic Winter Games, and helps to achieve the country's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.

BACKGROUND OF PROJECT

It was completed in March 2021 and provides green power for Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

APPLIED PRODUCTS

 1.BD630KTR-M three-phase energy storage converter
 2.BD500KTR-DE DC/DC converter

VALUE OF PROJECT

Efficient power supply
Provide clean and highly reliable renewable energy supply for the Olympic Zone.
Eco-friendly, energy conservation & emission reduction

PV power generation does not produce any waste gas, wastewater, waste residue, and other wastes, replacing traditional energy, which can reduce CO2 emissions, and SO2 emissions, safe and pollution-free. According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the installation of 1 m2 of PV system is equivalent to 100 m2 of afforestation in terms of CO2 reduction.

Not only the Olympic Games, when zero-carbon has reached global consensus, but many countries in the world have also set off the climax of building PV power plants to facilitate green development. INVT Solar focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of PV inverters, based on the PV industry, making everyone get access to clean energy, helping many well-known enterprises in different industries embark on the road of energy transformation, fulfilling the best of both eco-friendly and economic benefits.
