Industrial parks are important carriers for economic development, but they are also major contributors to carbon emissions. The carbon emissions of China's national and provincial-level parks account for approximately 31% of the country's total emissions. To promote energy conservation and carbon reduction in these parks, relevant departments have introduced policies over the years to encourage the development of distributed photovoltaic systems in industrial parks, actively advancing the green and low-carbon transformation of these areas.

Yingtan High-tech Zone (Phase II) 5.6MW Photovoltaic Power Station

As one of Jiangxi Province's first batch of carbon peak pilot parks, Yingtan High-Tech Park has been vigorously promoting the low-carbon transformation of its energy, resource, and information infrastructure. This effort aims to achieve the park's "carbon peak" goals and provide operable, replicable, and scalable models and experiences for Jiangxi Province and the entire country. A key initiative involves the large-scale construction of PV power stations on the rooftops of schools and industrial factories within the park, with the Yingtan High-Tech Park (Phase II) 5.6MW PV plant being a representative example.

Previously, the 6.89MW photovoltaic power station project in Yingtan High-tech Zone (Phase I), in which Invt Photovoltaics was involved, had been in efficient operation for over a year, with an annual electricity generation of up to 6.5396 million kWh. Based on this solid cooperation, the Yingtan High-tech Zone (Phase II) 5.6MW photovoltaic power station project again selected Invt Photovoltaics' XG series three-phase grid-tied inverters, including 54 units with different power ratings ranging from 30-100kW.

INVT XG series three-phas on-grid solar inverters are specially developed for commercial and industrial power stations. They support IP66 high protection, dual-level lightning protection for both AC and DC, intelligent IV diagnostics, fault recording, AFCI, and other intelligent safety features, effectively preventing accidents such as fires and lightning strikes. With multiple MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) design, they perfectly match mainstream modules, support up to 1.6 times DC overloading, and have a maximum inverter efficiency of 98.7%. This results in higher energy generation, providing more green electricity to Yingtan High-tech Zone.

The power station was successfully connected to the grid and started operation on December 26, 2023. It has been running efficiently and stably for three months. The station adopts a self-consumption and surplus electricity grid-connected model, with an expected annual electricity generation of over 5.3155 million kWh. This is estimated to save around 2,126.18 tons of standard coal annually, reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by about 159.46 tons, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 5,299.5 tons per year.

The power station has significant economic, environmental, and social benefits. It lays a solid foundation for Yingtan High-tech Zone's energy structure transformation and the achievement of its carbon peak goals. It also provides a valuable demonstration for industrial parks across Jiangxi Province and the country in implementing the "dual carbon" goals and practicing green transformation.

In recent years, low-carbon industrial parks have been promoted across the China, and photovoltaic power stations have become a new standard for various types of parks. As a professional manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters, Invt Photovoltaics is committed to supporting more enterprises, factories, and parks in building high-quality photovoltaic power stations with high-quality inverter products, contributing to the achievement of the dual carbon goals.
