1. Background
IRTRA Xocomil Water Park, a paradise for water fun, integrates Mayan cultural customs with magnificent natural landscapes. It allows visitors to enjoy dynamic experiences brought by world-class water amusement facilities amid lush vegetation and uniquely featured architectural environments.

Located in the heart of Guatemala's tropical region, the park's name "Xocomil" derives from the Tz'utujil and Kaqchikel languages, meaning "strong wind blowing across the water surface." The park features an interactive teen pool and the gently flowing Tumalá Gentle River, where visitors of all ages can play to their hearts' content and share joy together.

2. Customer request

* Stable and Sufficient Water Supply
Core amusement facilities of the water park, such as wave pools, lazy rivers, and various water slides, have extremely high requirements for instantaneous and continuous water supply. They need to meet the needs of water circulation supplement and normal equipment operation during peak tourist seasons.

* Water Circulation Utilization and Energy Conservation
Water parks consume large amounts of water. To reduce operating costs and respond to environmental protection requirements, it is necessary to build an efficient water circulation treatment system. This system realizes the reuse of pool water after filtration, purification, and disinfection, while reducing water waste and sewage discharge pressure.

* Emergency Water Supply Guarantee
It is necessary to address sudden water cuts, equipment failures, and other situations by equipping emergency water supply equipment or backup water sources. This avoids the suspension of amusement projects, the decline in tourist experience, and even potential safety hazards caused by water supply interruptions.

3. INVT Solution
As a key electrical partner for this project, INVT successfully won the bid for the IRTRA Water Park Project. It provided 65 units of GD350A inverters and 5 sets of PLC control systems, supporting the smooth implementation and efficient operation of this extraordinary water park with advanced and reliable automation technology.

  • Optional built-in PLC card, adopting an internationally mainstream PLC card development environment. It supports programming languages such as instruction list, ladder diagram, and sequential function chart, with 16K steps of program storage space. This facilitates secondary development by customers, meets customized needs, and reduces system costs.

  • Supports mainstream communications such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet I/P, Ethercat, and Can open.

* Easy Debugging

  • Optional Bluetooth/Wi-Fi expansion card enables parameter setting and status monitoring via mobile APP. Operation is possible without opening the electrical control cabinet, providing a more convenient user experience.

5. Conclusion
Adopting advanced energy-saving algorithms, INVT GD350A can accurately adjust water pump speed to match water supply needs at different times. Compared with the traditional power frequency operation mode, the energy-saving rate can reach 20%-40%, which can significantly reduce the electricity bill expenditure of the park during long-term operation.

Meanwhile, the equipment is equipped with a complete fault self-diagnosis function and convenient maintenance interfaces, enabling quick location of fault points, simplification of maintenance processes, and reduction of equipment downtime for maintenance. This further improves the operational efficiency and economic benefits of the park.
