Abstract:In recent years, the global new energy has developed rapidly, especially the explosive growth of electric vehicles, which has led to an increasing demand for power batteries. Ternary percursors are intermediate products of cathode materials for power batteries and mainly composed of nickel, cobalt and manganese. This article presents the application of INVT GD350 high-performance multi-functional frequency converter on the ternary precursor material production line.

1. Introduction
Indonesia, located in the southeast of Asia, is rich in mineral resources and has advantages such as easy exploitation, low labor costs, and convenient maritime transportation. In recent years, under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative, economic and trade cooperation between the two sides has been continuously strengthened. Many domestic enterprises have invested in building factories in Indonesia, participating in the mining and smelting of mineral resources, and related mechanical and electrical products are all purchased domestically. Our products have been widely used in the Central Hamahera district of North Maluku Province Indonesia.
2. System equipment control requirements
2.1 Introduction to production process
The production of ternary precursor materials involves a series of complex chemical reactions and physical processes. First, metal elements such as nickel, cobalt and manganese are fused together through chemical reactions to form a precursor solution. The solution is then subjected to physical processes such as drying and high-temperature decomposition, and finally the ternary precursor material is obtained. Key processes include raw material preparation coprecipitation reaction, solid-liquid separation, washing and packaging etc.

2.2 Equipment Control requirements
The key equipment for the ternary precursor production line includes: Reaction axe, concentration axe, filter press, centrifuge, water pump, slurry transfer pump, sulfuric acid transfer pump, alkali water transfer pump, etc. The site operates continuously for 24 hours, and the reliability of the frequency converter is required to be high. There are two types of loads: ordinary asynchronous motors and permanent magnet direct drive synchronous motors, with power ranging from 5.5 to 110KW. The upper computer and the frequency converter are connected via Profinet bus. The factory area is close to the sea and has salt spray, so the product is required to have strong corrosion resistance.
3. INVT solution introduction
3.1 Product Introduction of INVT GD350
INVT GD350 series high-performance frequency converters employ the latest software algorithms, significantly enhancing motor control performance, parameter adaptability and ease of use. The product supports synchronous/asynchronous motor drive, full Chinese LCD display screen, high reliability and strong environmental adaptability. 4. System Debugging Effect Description
There are 12 ternary precursor material production lines at the customer site in Indonesia, using approximately 360 units of GD350 VFD. The on-site commissioning was successful in one go, and the production line has been operating efficiently and stably since its commissioning. The pictures of the field application are as follows.

5. Closing Remarks
INVT GD350 series high-performance drives have been successfully applied in various process sections of the ternary precursor material production line, which is of great significance for the efficient production of Indonesia is new energy industry and the promotion of local economic and social development.
