When the cable between the VFD and the motor is long, an external output reactor, or a dv/dt filter, or a sine wave filter needs to be selected and configured according to the length of the motor cable, so as to reduce the excessive dv/dt, thereby reducing the voltage stress on the motor windings, protecting the motor windings, and extending the service life of the motor.
